MJM pillows on a daybed

Mary Jane McCarty's custom-made pillows and home accessories are done with a creative flair! Crafted from antique textiles - rare antique toiles, elegant brocades or perhaps just the perfect silk - they will put the finishing touch on your decor. Pillows can be designed for any style of interior, using your fabric or textile pieces from Mary Jane's extensive collection.

Mary Jane has two decades experience of working with retail stores and with interior designers. Over the years Mary Jane has done work for such celebrated designers as Michael Smith and Kathryn Ireland in Los Angeles, Bunny Williams, John Rosselli and Caroline Wharton in New York City, and Fury Design and Kathleen Jamieson in Philadelphia and Princeton, New Jersey’s Dennison and Dampier. When given a design direction, she can create a signature collection of pillows and accessories to complement and enhance a client’s home.

Accolades from the Trade:

"I have worked with Mary Jane for six years as a buyer for Bergdorf Goodman's Decorative Home department. She is an absolute delight to work with and I am always impressed by her endless creativity and the beautiful and unique craftsmanship of her products. She has designed exclusive collections for our store for 19 years and our customers continue to look for her designs when they want something truly special and one of a kind." - Brooke Gallagher, Bergdorf Goodman, NYC, NY

"Mary Jane's pillows are the secret weapon in our design work! Not only are they unique and beautifully detailed, but the antique fabrics and colour combinations make them the most admired accessories in the room - the gilding on the lily! I have never seen such a variety of beautiful fabrics and passementerie that she has collected over the years. Her imaginative combinations of pattern and colour ensure that each and every piece she produces is a unique statement in any room and perfectly customized to the needs of the client." - Tara Dennison, Dennison & Dampier Interior Design, Princeton, NJ and London, UK

"She can go from traditional to transitional in the way she mixes different patterns and her use of color to me is very modern. Clients love that she uses vintage fabrics in her designs; it adds a certain patina to a room." - Eric Rymshaw, Fury Design, Philadelphia, PA
